Ardentinny
Loch Long & Cowal Peninsular
Ardentinny is a small village on the west bank of Loch Long in Argyle & Bute, not far from Dunoon.
It is easily accessed from Glasgow by way of the Gourock to Dunoon ferry, or an 80 mile drive around the lochs.
Ardentinny is just opposite the nuclear weapon loading facility at Coulport on the eastern side of the loch. This is the large building at the water's edge and can be seen in some of the photos.
Benmore Botanic Gardens also features here and is just a few miles from Ardentinny.
